WEATHER and MUDD LINE

Weather Issues:

In the event of inclement weather, Please call the Irvine Field Hotline at 949.724.MUDD

A telephone message will list fields that are closed and those that are playable. If the machine says the fields are open, we play ball even if it is raining or snowing. Be sure to check this often and before each game as events beyond our control do occur.

Please note the following terminology when listening to the Mudd line: City, Satellite and School district fields are the fields that we play our games on. Please listen carefully as they list each field separately.

If one of your fields is closed on the Mudd line, do not email or phone the tournament director's cell phone but rather you must have a representative from your team check in at the Harvard Park snack bar by 7:30 am on that given day and remain there until the game has been reassigned to a new field and time. In the event of rain, it is very possible that you may have to play 1,2 or even 3 games in a single day. The tournament director will do everything possible to balance out the games but given the fact of the matter it may not be equally fair to all teams involved.

If you fail to follow the above instructions and miss a game for any reason, it will be recorded as 1-0 win for your opponnet.
